Partner's autumn special, daily departures 13–21 October; other dates on request. Bring your passport for hotel check-in. Travellers aged 70+ need a hospital health certificate. Groups of 16 or fewer have a driver-guide who does not go into the park. Don't book a flight or train for the evening of day 2.

Itinerary
D1Chongqing – Guangming Temple – Liujiang old town
Morning departure from Chongqing (about 400 km, 5 hours) to Guangming Temple, a quiet Tang-style Zen temple facing the mountains (1 hour or more). Then Liujiang Ancient Town, one of Sichuan's ten famous old towns, with its rivers, bridges and thousand-year-old trees (2 hours or more). Night in a guesthouse in Liujiang. Meals on your own.
D2Wawushan – Chongqing
Breakfast, then about 1.5 hours to Wawushan (5 hours or more). Cable car up to the summit plateau for the sea of clouds and autumn forest, past Zhengjue Temple, Yuanyang Pond and the rhododendron viewpoint, then the cable car down. Drive back to Chongqing (about 6 hours).
